Open Question: My bf and I are trying to plan a trip to Venice Beach, CA in a couple weeks...?

Does anyone know of any motels near by that wont break the bank? We plan on being out and about all day and will only us the room to sleep in (doesn't have to be the fanciest is what I'm saying).

Open Question: I feel trapped, want to just die sometimes? my mother wouldn't let me go home, please help me?

OK so here is the deal: 1. I am 21, my father is retired and on Social Security, SOME HOW I get social security each month through him, which is 730 dollars. 2. My hometown in Alpena Michigan, but I moved down to KY to live by my mother. 3. My mother and I live in separate apartments 4. she is a diagnosed sociopath and has SEVERAL other mental disorders. 5. She wants us to put our incomes together and get a car (between us we have 1400 a month) but she wants us to live in the car for a month and then get ONE motel room and live together (we would not be able to afford our apartments and buy a car) she wants us to live in a single motel room because its cheaper, down here in Kentucky they have motels turned into efficiency's for 300 a month. If I move in with my mother I will be MISERABLE, I had a horrible childhood because of her, she kept me from life, abused me in every way possible and imaginable and hates any mate I get with (not the normal mother-in-law hate) she wants me by her 24/7, she even texts me when I come home at night from being at her place ALLLLLLL day, and if I don;t she gets all upset. Sometimes I just feel like killing myself because there is no escape from her, I have cried myself to sleep because of it before. I want to live on my own, I mean I am in my own home but in a city I can be in alone, I want to move back to Alpena and find a job and EARN money! But my mom would throw a huge fit and want me to stay here, I just hate it here! I love KY but only for a vacation, I want to go home...I feel so trapped. She acts as though if I leave she won't have a life, she has told me this, but she has friends and tons of people here! I am sick of being in misery. I have tried talking to her about how she is, she gets angry or starts crying and threatening too kill herself, one time I DID leave her and got her out of my life and my life was very good. What should I do? No one likes her back in my home town, she has hurt several people and everyone supports me being on my own, I have a man that I love who lives in Alpena, he loves me too but my mother does not want us together, I am so confused.

Open Question: What's this horror movie?

I watched this when I was really young, it seems quite well known since "The Simpsons" did a little skit of it in one episode. The movie is about a man who owns an inn or a motel or something and he lives in a house on top of a hill with his mother who is always watching him from the window. These police officers are meanwhile trying to solve the murder of a young woman the guy was seeing and who was staying at the inn at the time. I can't remember all of it but the police officers suspect this guy and they break into his home one day. There, they go upstairs to where the mother is sitting in a chair watching from the window, but when the lady officer turns the chair around it is actually a corpse in a wig and a dress. The lady gets freaked out and then the guy finds the officers. So I can't remember it well but it turns out it is actually the guy who killed his girlfriend but he had split personalities, one of which thought he was his mother and who dressed up in the wig and the dress. Please help! I didn't see the whole thing and I wanna finish it!!!

Open Question: Roadtrip help!!! Budget of a European roadtrip?

Hi everyone!!!!! I'm planning a Euro-trip and need some advice and estimations. The route is a circle around Europe From France to Portugal to Russia to Norway to the Netherlands (going through many countries along the way). There are 3 people going. We don't plan to be going through any of the South East countries. That'll be our Next Trip. I've done an initial route that will take us through around 20 countries. We're taking tents but will consider spending the odd night in a cheap hotel/motel. We haven't decided how long we will be going for but I want to spend at least 1 full day in each country so maybe 3 or 4 weeks. What would you suggest Per person Per day for:- Accommodation??? Food??? Spending/Spare money??? And how much fuel money should be taken (Remember we're literally going through and around Europe)???? Can someone suggest a total budget we should have for the trip. I was thinking maybe £8,000 for everything (just a starting guess...More or less???) No date has been set yet so there's time to save up plenty and more. Can anyone also suggest some general handy tips for going on road trips???? I know it will take a long time and a lot of money, so i may split the trip into stages but at the moment i'm looking at the total amount for everything. Cheers!!!! :p
