Steal A Deal On Orlando Accommodations at New Frontier Motel

Steal A Deal on Orlando Accommodations

Expert Article By: Catherine Lawson

Looking to bag a bargain on Orlando accommodation? With so many motel and condo businesses out there, competing for your trade, it?s much easier than you might think.

First you need to decide if you want to stay in a motel or, condo or villa. If you?re renting a car, a villa may be a better option.

If you decide on a motel, you will need to search for motels near to the attractions you will be visiting most. If you?re going to be spending a lot of time at Disney world, you need to look at motels in the Lake Buena Vista area. There?s also some great non-disney motels in Downtown Disney, or you might opt for a Walt Disney World motel.

If you?re going to be spending more time at other Orlando attractions on your vacation, such as Universal, you will be better of staying in the International Drive area.

The time of year you choose to go is going to be an important factor in getting the best deal in Orlando. Avoid popular vacation times, such as Christmas, and Easter if you can. Walt Disney World and Universal get extremely crowded at this times and because it gets so busy, there are fewer deals on accommodations.

Search the major travel companies on the web, such as www.travelocity.com and www.expedia.com to see if you can get a deal on a place you like. If you can be flexible, try searching different dates, as prices can vary a lot. Remember to check in the motel description whether there are any extras not included in the price. Some motels charge for shuttles to Disney World and Universal, and some have a resort charge, which includes things such as parking and newspapers.

If you find an Orlando motel you like using these resources, but the price isn?t quite low enough, try calling a travel agent, give them the quote you?ve got, and ask them if they can come up with a better price.

You could also try calling the motel directly and ask if they have any discounts or managers specials for your travel dates.

If you?re not too fussy about where you stay, and just want a really low price, try bidding on an Orlando motel room at www.priceline.com. Do read the guidelines before bidding, and realise that once you?ve won a bid, you can?t cancel.

For villa rentals in Orlando, Florida, you?re sure to get a good deal, as the competition is huge. Try to rent direct from an owner. An excellent resource for doing this is: www.vrbo.com. Remember to check what is and is not included in the rental price. You don?t want to be landed with an unexpected bill for air conditioning and pool heating at the end. Timeshare rental may be another option to consider. www.tug2.net is a good resource for finding timeshare rentals in Orlando. Don?t be afraid to negotiate. Often these people need to rent out their vacation homes to cover a second mortgage, or timeshare dues, and because the competition is fierce, they may agree to lower the price.

Orlando, Florida, is the vacation capital of the world. With so much competition out there, it?s easy to steal a deal on accommodation if you look hard enough.

Steal A Deal On Orlando Accommodations Headlines

Open Question: Cheapest hotels near Santee (san diego area)?

looking to get a cheap bed to sleep during the week near santee or el cajon. i will be working in santee during the week and commuting for weekends. i am looking for hotels that are not listed in the regular hotel sites. the closer to my area the better. i guess i am looking for seedy motels and just a place to sleep from 9 pm to 7am and a quick shower. i will be going to a gym in the evenings so i will not even technically need the shower since the gym has them. hostels that i saw are all by the beach and overly expensive since i have a car. i am already trying to network on craigslist etc. for other options so you do not have to tell me about that. i guess just tell me where the seedy hotels nearest to santee are. i do not want to get robbed obviously. if i have to reject a couple prostitutes on check in would not bother me. i would not want to get in any altercations. my car has full coverage insurance so the world would not end if it were stolen but i obviously i do not want that to happen. any help much appreciated thanks. i will choose best answer i am looking for a cheap place to crash not looking for prostitutes. my question is straight up no innuendo. scumbags and religious freaks like "im so cool" need not respond. if idiots like him are all san diego has to offer i will just sleep in my car and save 20 to 30 bucks a day. since i can shower at the gym that is my backup plan as opposed to drivin to san ysidro for the 30 a night hotel they have down there. the cheapest hotels are about 50 a night in the area including motel 6. i am just looking for cheaper motels that do not advertise on expedia and usually they are seedy/lowlife/druggy/prositiute hotbeds and i might be able to arrive and make a deal with hotel management to get a bed for 8 hours during low usage times or a 30 a night room.

Resolved Question: What is the name of this film...?

I remember that the film is based on true story, about that woman who was a prostitute in Florida and become a serial killer, having a champion with her lesbian girlfriend while running away from motel to other motel then again, move to different motel to avoid arrest. She was finally arrested outside of the pub and eventually executed 12 years later. Question two: What is the name of that prostitute woman in real life??

Open Question: Would it cost as much as flying to drive a small motorhome to KS ? read:?

I have to get from Oregon to KS, Would it cost just as much in gas to get from Oregon to KS (1500 miles via road) I was figuring $5 per gallon of gas and figuring that I might get 15 miles to the gallon, I"ve never had a motorhome before, and it would be a small one, I am thinking of buying one, but when I figured out the gas, it would be like $1000, Am I correct ? It would be cheaper than paying a motel for 2 weeks while I am there, but ???????? how do you figure this ? I am trying to find the cheapest way to get to western KS from So. Oregon USA , but even a bus round trip costs almost as much as a plane ticket. I am not supposed to fly for health reasons.

Open Question: How do I make a new start in life?

I'm close with my family but sometimes it doesn't feel enough. When I dropped out of high school (a lot of mental issues... little better now) I took a job with my dad to work in the Janitorial Service cleaning 2 day care schools every night. Up until now, my dad got fired (poor attendance, now they're shutting down and that's not my dad's primary job. He has a day job) and now I don't feel like I have to be there to help my dad because he's not doing a lot of work no more; I'm glad I worked there, it taught me the true meaning of hard work and I got to help my father and keep his stress down. I'm 20 years old, unemployed and can't even get a interview at Mcdonalds or Taco Bell (no ones hiring in the small city of Salinas). Other then my family, I have nothing here for me; no friends, no social life, no lovers or a dollar with my name. I just want more in life. I was thinking of heading down south like somewhere in L.A. (near Hollywood) and make a new start. Sounds dumb but I want an experience in life and to feel independent. I'm sick and tired of living the same day-to-day routines: wake up in the morning, watch tv, apply for jobs that you know you're one of many and so on. How can you line up a job before leaving? Can a dishwasher salary pay rent at a motel? I mean it's not like I'm dumb, I do have a few talents but I think if I play my cards right and bet on a few chances, I can make a new start and do something with my life. Maybe I'm all talk right now, but sometimes it feels like I'm going to explode and lose it; do something stupid that'll ruin my life. I don't do drugs and never will. My brother did and it messed up his life. Now he lives on the street. Sometimes, I feel like that going to be me in 5 years if I don't depart ways. What should I do? I'm close with my mom and dad and it would break my heart to do anything that would upset them. I'll be 21 next month. Don't know if that's relevant or not.

Open Question: Boyfriend wants to get a cheap motel room? Lowering my standards?

My boyfriend wants to get a motel room to save money. I just don't agree with it. It makes me feel like an escort. He lives at home and so do I. Would you get a motel (not hotel) room? He's 36. He could at least put us in a decent hotel room. We do get rooms every other weekend though.

Open Question: I need help identifying a movie's name?

Ok it's a pretty old movie and saw it about 15 years ago. The movie's storyline is in a motel, there are group of people there and people get killed by unknown killer one by one. They know that the killer is among them, but don't know who it is. So there's a detective among the group, so he interrogates everyone one by one, by going to their room one by one. However, even though the detective interrrogates them, people still get killed. And by the end of the movie, it turns out that the detective was the killer, because he was the only one who was able to go in each one's room freely. Now I have no idea when the movie came out, and who was in it. But it kinda sounds like one of Agatha Christie's novel or something like that. Can anyone help me find out the name of the movie?
